SC is pleased to announce the promotion of Mike Mulroe to the position of Vice President. Mike joined the SC team in March 2022 and plays a critical role in evaluating and executing new investment opportunities as well as ongoing portfolio management.

Prior to joining SC, Mike worked as a senior associate at Tilia Holdings (“Tilia”), a food and beverage-focused private equity fund in Chicago. Prior to Tilia, Mike was an investment banking analyst in the Industrial group of Robert W. Baird (“Baird”) in Chicago. Prior to Baird, Mike co-founded and operated a healthy snack food business. Mike earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

SC is pleased to announce the promotion of Ryan Smith to Senior Associate. Ryan joined the SC team in March 2022 and plays an important role in evaluating new investment opportunities and in supporting transaction execution and various SC portfolio companies.

Prior to joining SC, Ryan spent three years as an associate at CapX Partners, a Chicago-based alternative debt provider for private equity sponsored companies. Ryan earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
